From report to estimate
The inventory is already there.
The estimate opens against a Move Report that already carries the inventory, the cube, the estimated weight and the access conditions at both ends. There is no cube sheet to key in and no second system to reconcile against.
Every line stays editable, so your judgment sits on top of the survey rather than underneath it. When you revise a quote, the earlier version stays on the job record — which matters when a customer asks why the number moved.

What software do moving estimators use?
Most moving companies use a combination of a cube sheet, a rate card and a CRM or spreadsheet. CubitMove replaces the cube sheet step with a survey the customer records themselves, and builds the estimate from the resulting Move Report using the company’s own rates.
Does CubitMove decide what to charge my customer?
No. CubitMove suggests an estimate from the rate card you set up, and you decide the final number. CubitMove never shows a price to your customer.
Can I still change the inventory before I quote?
Yes. Every line on the report is editable by your estimator, including quantities, volumes and specialty flags.
How do moving companies estimate cubic feet?
By listing every item room by room and applying conventional cube sheet volumes — a three-seat sofa at roughly 50 cubic feet, a queen mattress set at 60, a medium carton at 3 — then totalling them. Weight follows from volume at 7 pounds per cubic foot.
